Jessica Pegula & Veronika Kudermetova lead first quarter
Jessica Pegula is the top seed in the tournament. She is in the first quarter. Pegula has received a bye to the second round. She will play the winner between Anna Bondar and Anna Blinkova in the second round.
Fifth seed Veronika Kudermetova is the next top seed in the secition. She has also received a bye and will face either Alycia Parks or Diana Shnaider in the second round. 12th seed Paula Badosa, 15th seed Irina-Camelia Begu are also the seeded players in this section they will kickstart their campaign from the first round.
Belinda Bencic headlines second quarter
Belinda Bencic, who is the fourth seed and Ekaterina Alexandrova the seventh seed headlines the second quarter of the draws. Both the players will begin their campaign from the second round. Bencic is likely to face Lauren Davis in her opening match. Davis will be facing a qualifier in the first round.
Ekaterina Alexandrova meanwhile will set up clash against either Elina Svitolina and Yulia Putintseva in the second round. The quarter also has seeded players in 10th seed Shuai Zhang and 13th seed Danielle Collins. Zhang will face Julia Grabher in the first round. Meanwhile, Collins will begin her campaign against fellow American Shelby Rogers.
Daria Kasatkina top seed in third quarter
Third seed Daria Kasatkina is the top seed in the third quarter. The third seed has advanced to the second round. She will take on the winner between Kaia Kanepi and Madison Brengle in the match.
8th seed Magda Linette, who reached the semifinal at the Australian Open earlier this year will face either a qualifier or Varvara Gracheva in the second round.
9th seed Madison Keys and 16th seed Marie Bouzkova are the only other seeded players in the quarter. Madison Keys will begin her campaign against Emma Navarro in the first round. Bouzkova meanwhile has set up clash against Cristina Bucsa in the first round of the tournament.
Ons Jabeur headlines final quarter
Second seed Ons Jabeur returns to the tour after her first round defeat at the Miami Open. Jabeur will straightaway begin her campaign in the second round. Jabeur is likely to face Lesia Tsurenko in the second round.
Sixth seed Victoria Azarenka has also entered directly to the second round. he will face either a qualifier or Sloane Stephens in her opening game. Jill Teichmann, who is the 14th seed will be up against Linda Fruhvirtova in the first round.
11th seed Anhelina Kalinina will face Anna Kalinskaya in the first round. Alize Cornet, Fiona Crawley, Caroline Dolehide are the other seeded players in the quarter.
