Today’s combat sports rarely provide one-night tournaments like the one Alex Pereira won his first Glory tournament in 2014.
Sahak Parparyan defeated Jason Wilnis via split decision, while Alex Pereira knocked out current UFC contender Dustin Jacoby in the first round with his legendary left hook to advance to the finals of the 4-man tournament at Glory 14. Two of the three judges in the ring agreed that Pereira had done enough to win the bout, while the third judge was split.
