Currently the record for the longest six in the history of Indian Premier League belongs to former South Africa all-rounder Albie Morkel. In 2008 he smashed the ball 125-meter while playing for Chennai Super Kings against Deccan Chargers. Former Indian pacer bowler Praveen Kumar, surprisingly, takes the second place when it comes to smashing longest six in IPL history.
