Set to chase 213, Nicholas Pooran brought LSG back into the game after the visitors lost 4 early wickets. The explosive batter lit up the Bengaluru sky with his fireworks as he slammed a fifty off just 15 balls, making it the second fastest half century in the Indian Premier League.

With LSG looking all poised to win the game, tragedy struck when he was dismissed in a rather controversial manner. A loose full toss delivery from Siraj saw Pooran attempting to hit a six. But the Caribbean cricketer went on to give a six at deep backward square leg which was subsequently caught by Shahbaz Ahmed.

Immediately Pooran decided to review the decision claiming that it was a no ball with the ball being over his waist. Upon slow motion replay from the third umpire it was revealed that the ball just just on line of his waist, if not a few centimeters lower and was ultimately dismissed. An angry Pooran walked off from the crease. He was spotted in a fuming mood at the dugout, quite naturally so.
