Delhi Capitals dropped their third straight game as the David Warner-led team was humiliated by Rajasthan Royals by a score of 57 runs. Although he scored a half-century personally, skipper David Warner, who took over for the season in place of Rishabh Pant, failed to impress with his rate of run production as the squad fell short of Rajasthan’s total of 199 runs.
Mumbai Indians, who carried over their IPL 2022 performance into the 2023 season, were unable to get out of the bottom part of the standings and suffered their second straight loss on Saturday, falling to the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. The MI batting, after being asked to bat first by CSK, once again fell short of expectations and could only generate 157/8, with notable players like the skipper Rohit (21) and Suryakumar Yadav (1) failing yet again.
