Evers, an Australian model, was rumored to be dating Israel Adesanya. She had posted pictures with the UFC champion on her official IG profile, which is nowhere found now. It is doubtful whether the two are actually dating. However, Shana Evers didn’t forget to send her warm wishes for Israel Adesanya post-UFC 287.
Israel Adesanya was a betting favorite prior to the fight. However, he was an underdog in the eyes of several people, including MMA experts. Pereira has three wins (2-Kickboxing, 1-MMA) over Adesanya, two coming via KOs.
The Brazilian was confident bout beating Adesanya for the fourth time at UFC 287. For a while, it seemed possible, as Alex Pereira injured Adesanya with a knee. That said, Izzy counter-attacked brilliantly and fed Alex Pereira to the canvas.
With Poatan already out, Izzy landed a massive hammer fist that shut out the lights for Pereira. Israel Adesanya then went on to mock Pereira by imitating his bow and arrow celebration. Izzy didn’t stop there. He further targeted Pereira’s son and mocked the little boy who had dared to belittle Israel Adesanya after his KO loss in 2017.
UFC 287 was a star-filled event with many spectacular fights on the display. Jorge Masvidal lost to Gilbert Burns in the co-main event and announced his retirement from MMA.
