Andre Russell’s duck in Kolkata on Thursday was only the second time he was dismissed without scoring against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Other than the RCB, Russell has failed to get off the mark against the Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, and Rajasthan Royals in his IPL career so far.
Fans who came to the Eden Gardens to watch Russell, the Muscle, were left disappointed to the core. All KKR fans would be hoping for a turnaround in Russell’s fortunes with the willow and for their team to make it to the final four, which at the moment remains a distant dream.
