Wayne Rooney was known for his aggressive gameplay in football, which cemented him as a legendary Manchester United and English player. But his credibility as a boxer is sheerly doubtful. Rooney has previously appeared in a small WWE segment, where he went on to feud with King Barrett.
In a WWE RAW episode, Wayne Rooney sent chills across the pro-wrestling community after slapping King Barrett in front of a massive crowd. Rooney’s aggressive action came after he was heckled by Barrett for a brief period.
Wayne Rooney is an absolute entertainer and can be a PPV hit at the Box Office if he laces the boxing gloves. Meanwhile, Jake Paul will seemingly have an easy payday if he can trade shots with Rooney inside the ring.

Retired NBA player Nate Robinson tried his luck as a boxer, which failed miserably after he got knocked out by Jake Paul in the undercard of Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. Nevertheless, Jake Paul is no longer undefeated and Tommy Fury has also left a blueprint for other boxers to have a crack at ‘The Problem Child’.
