WrestleMania 39: Cody Rhodes is all set to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 in a highly anticipated match for the WWE Universal Championship. However ahead of that, Cody Rhodes claimed that he is the face of WWE and not the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Cody Rhodes returned and participated in the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match. Rhodes outlasted 29 other Wrestlers to become the winner. With that, he has been on a roll.
On the other hand, for the last three years, Roman Reigns was considered to be the face of the company. However it seems like its now time for Cody Rhodes to take that place. Meanwhile, Rhodes already sees himself in that place.
Cody Rhodes recently appeared in an interview with Sports Illustrated, where he claimed to be the face of WWE and criticized Roman Reigns’ schedule.

Cody Rhodes said “I don’t think there’s any more pressure about potentially being the face of the company because respectfully, I feel like for the last four months, I’ve already been the face of the company.
Roman is on, not a part-time schedule, he’s still a full-time superstar and still the champ, respectfully. But I make every town, every city and in addition to that, I’ve already felt like the face of the company since perhaps even Hell in a Cell.” (H/T:- Sports Illustrated)
