Liverpool had a disastrous season as the team is currently out of every competition, meaning they will be without a trophy this season. However, that’s not it, the team might be out of Champions League as they are 13 points behind 4th-placed Manchester United in the league, sitting in 8th place. One of the main concerns this season for Liverpool has been the midfield.

However, it is highly unlikely that Real Madrid will give up on Tchouameni that easily and the money spent on him was definitely not for one season.
Liverpool’s Other Transfer Targets
Liverpool will be going aggressively in this transfer window in order to rebuild the squad. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Roberto Firmino, Naby Keïta Naby Keïta, and James Milner’s contracts are going to end by this season. They are front runners to sign English wonderkind Jude Bellingham along with Manchester City.
